What is a Cake Smash & Splash?

You will have most likely come across the new craze of Cake Smash somewhere on the internet; facebook, twitter even the T.V,
some of you may have wondered, what actually is a cake smash? what does it involve?

I have put together some information on Cake Smash Photoshoots, and why they are so much fun!

It has always been a tradition to capture the milestone 1st Birthday photo's - and now the Cake Smash is the new trend setter of this generation. What better way to celebrate your birthday - with loads of yummy cake. 

Our Smash session's start with the traditional portrait's in their best outfit's (don't worry your little one ill have a chance to change before the cake is presented to them). 
We then change them into a smash outfit, for the fun part! Let your little one, touch, smell and eat the gooey chocolate cake with their curious little hands - they will love the freedom of being able to enjoy messy play and explore with their senses. Once your little one has finished - a quick clean up in our tin tub finishes off their session - all squeaky clean.

TOP TIP!
Ensure your cake has lots of squishy frosting for the best results - nice and messy!
