A beautiful sunny day was perfect for the setting on Mr & Mrs Coars' wedding. After a beautiful church ceremony at St Micheal's Church, Grimsargh, the celebrations continued down beside Elston Lane River. After following the sign posts down to the river banking, we were greeted by a huge Marquee beside the river.
Beautifully decorated inside & out, there was plenty of fun things to do, from testing your strength, to a coconut shy, I never saw one bored child all day.
We did things differently at their wedding with regards to photo's. The couple decided they didn't want the family formals, but would still like the group shots, with a flair of fun!
A few guests looked slightly puzzled when we skipped any formal photography which is normally done outside the church, and we headed straight to the farm & venue.
After a few couple shots in the hay bails, we headed down to the river banking, where the bridal party groups shots consisted of the men, battling on test your strength, to the bride and her brides maids with their wellies.
After the three course wedding breakfast was served and the speeches were finished, we had a little time to fill with more candid photo's before we were going into the photographers 'golden hour' in the evening to have some romantic Bride & Groom shots by the river. We even waded in to the river to!
The evening do started with a succulent and crispy outdoor hog roast feast, followed by the first dance, which held a surprise for the guests, and then a surprise ice cream van!
After a long day of fun, the sun set was the perfect finish, to a perfect day.
